I love the metaphor of the fences in your song. The song tells such a good story and I like when the band comes in strong on that first chorus! Great use of dynamics!

Area to improve

I would encourage you to throw in some more instrumental fills and some more vocal harmonies in the latter half of the song to build it to the end!
